Your childβs school will be participating in a very important presentation called Play it Safe! that teaches children about personal safety. During the 45-minute session, a representative from the Childrenβs Advocacy Center will present research-based, age-appropriate script to teach children to recognize, react to, and report dangerous situations as part of our ongoing effort to protect all children from abuse and other harmful situations.
Because adults are responsible for keeping children safe, the presentation focuses on helping children identify safe adults and learn three safety rules the children can use:
1. Say NO
2. Get Away
3. Tell a trusted adult

The program is voluntary, which means that you do not have to allow your child to participate. Please complete this form only if you DO want your child to participate. If we receive the form, we will assume your child has permission to be included. Through gestures, determination, and some big smiles, they discovered just how powerful silent teamwork can be. Together, they learned that when one person succeeds, the whole team wins! π So proud of our future leaders for showing us what true teamwork looks like! π #WhereLeadersSoarπ¦
