Slim Chickens on Broadway fed our staff chicken strips and mac and cheese today for Teacher Appreciation week. It was delicious and we so appreciate their generosity. What a wonderful community we live in! Our hardworking teachers and staff deserve every kind gesture received this week and more. Owens is the BEST! 🦅 💙

We were so proud to celebrate our Teacher of the Year, Beth Lockhart, and our Rookie of the Year, Heather DeLeon tonight! We’ve loved getting a new book each month. It has truly made our love for reading grow! - - - Your donations helped us provide each 2nd grade student with 9 books through their school year. This means we gathered over 1,000 books! - - - The love and support shared by you through this monthly activity has been truly amazing.
