Ramey Elementary School proudly hosted their 4th annual book giveaway on Thursday, May 16th ensuring every student received a book to take home. This wonderful event, organized with the support of community donors, aimed to inspire a love for reading and promote lifelong learning among our students.
In the school's library, tables were filled with a wide variety of books catering to all reading levels and interests. Students eagerly browsed and selected from titles ranging from timeless classics to the latest children's novels.
"Our goal is to provide students with access to books, which is essential for developing strong reading skills and a passion for learning," said Media Technology Specialist, Jessi Smyth. "This giveaway is just one of the many ways we support our students' educational growth."
Ramey Elementary plans to continue this tradition, aiming to make the book giveaway an annual event that fosters a love of reading and learning.
