Fifth graders at Ramey Elementary spent two days immersing themselves into real world math scenarios. Mr. Fumo set up an extensive spread of empty boxes and containers and students had to race to fill their baskets.
The previous day, students planned their trip in class, carefully multiplying, dividing, adding, and subtracting those decimals!
Finally, the students carefully totaled their purchases, tracking the price of each item.
