This Halloween, the gym was the place to be for both thrills and chills! Thanks to the creativity of our P.E. teacher, Coach R, the gymnasium was transformed into a spooky playground full of Halloween-themed activities that combined fitness and fun.

One of the highlights was the Witch's Ring Toss, where students used glowing rings to try their luck at landing them on a witch’s hat. The Boo-ling station added a ghostly twist to traditional bowling, while Running Tic-Tac-Toe had students racing around the gym to place Halloween-themed items on a giant Tic-Tac-Toe board.

For those looking for a challenge, Catch a Ghost had students tossing a ball into the air, hoping to catch it and then quickly grab the scarf that had been placed on their head. The Pass the Pumpkin relay had students racing around a circle, passing a pumpkin to teammates while trying to avoid the dreaded exercise challenge if they lost the race.

In the Ghostbuster Tag game, students rode scooters with noodles attached, trying to capture their classmates’ β€œghosts” (a scarf hanging from the noodle) while defending their own. And for a truly spooky ride, the Haunted House Ride sent students crawling and sliding through spider webs on scooters as they followed a haunted track.

Finally, in Slap a Spider, students used sticky hands to capture plastic spiders from a table, competing against each other to see who could grab the most.

The Halloween-themed activities gave students a fun way to stay active and embrace the spooky spirit of the season and was a huge success, combining physical fitness with festive fun that students will remember for years to come!
