Congratulations to our District Secondary Teacher of Month, Nate Holcomb, 7th-grade math teacher at Three Lakes Middle School.
With an infectious energy and an ever-present smile, Mr. Holcomb has become a beloved figure among his students, who eagerly participate in his engaging and dynamic math classes. His commitment to student success extends beyond the classroom, as he also coaches cross country, balancing early morning practices with late-night tutoring sessions to ensure his students thrive.
Mr. Holcombβs colleagues are quick to praise his contributions, highlighting his role as a team lead for the 7th-grade math team. His willingness to help others and his ability to make work enjoyable for everyone around him stand out as key qualities that make him an exemplary educator. One colleague noted, "He is always upbeat, has a great rapport with teachers and students alike, and has put up with my incessant questions!"
Mr. Holcomb is also a TOP (Tyler Optimal Performance) teacher at the Exemplary Level, the highest level Texas teachers can achieve.
