Thanks to Mr. Virden, a retired principal, teacher, and rock/mineral enthusiast, the AVID-8 class experienced the beauty of nature through his presentation about various minerals. Students learned how some formulations occur as a result of heat, pressure, and exposure to moving water. Mr. Virden provided rock-solid information about certain geological processes and we were able to see some of the end products. You rocked, Mr. Virden! Thank you for spending some of your day with us. #Gators #knowledge #communitymatters #memoriesmadeππππ
