Norma McClung, Art Teacher
Mrs. McClung is a quietly creative force at Tyler High School. She manages her classroom with professionalism and finesse inspiring students to pull creativity and artistry from deep within. Her classroom is very organized and orderly, a difficult task in an Art Room! Mrs. McClung has a calming voice and personality which exhibits respect and care to all of her students and co-workers. Her artistic talent is an excellent example for students which encourages them to grow artistically on a daily basis. We are fortunate to have Mrs. McClung sharing her talent and of herself with our students at Tyler High School every day!
Latasha Welch, Testing Coordinator
It's TESTING SEASON and that means Ms. Welch is beyond busy! With our Benchmark and STAAR EOC assessment dates in clear view, the accountability that she must adhere to is
extreme. She is literally responsible for ensuring that every single testing student at Tyler High School receives the correct assessment. In addition, she must ensure that students requiring special testing accommodations receive them. It's a BIG JOB and one that demands Ms.
Welch to be extremely organized, highly competent, and the greatest of communicators. Ms. Welch holds all those qualities which makes her a great"Professional of The Month" for Tyler High!
