Congratulations to the following Cross Country Performances at the Legacy Invitational last Saturday:
1. Freshman Amy Vazquez wins the first place medal in our 5A/6A division and sets a new school record in the 5000 meter course.
2. Sulema Espinoza places 3rd and wins a medal in the same race with a personal best time
3. Dayanara Villela places 5th and wins a medal in the same race with a personal best time.
4. The girls team brings home the second place team trophy, narrowly edged by out of first by just 5 points.
5. Raul Velasquez closes fast to place 3rd in our Boys 5A/6A division.
All our runners ran hard and made us proud to be Tyler High School Lions!
