Tyler High November Students of the Month:
Anna Perdomo (Freshman Class): She is a stellar student who is passing with a high A, she always does her work on time and with the highest level of effort and quality. She is always ready to volunteer to go up in front of the class, show her work, or be the example for an activity. In addition, she doesn't mind being a peer tutor and always helps her classmates without complaint.
Anthony Taylor (Sophomore Class): This young man works hard in all of his classes. He is exceptionally polite, has a good sense of humor, and works hard to help others succeed. I have seen him work with younger students encouraging them to do better on their classwork. He thrives on challenges and works hard to succeed in life. One of the best young men I have seen on campus in a long time.
Enrique Fernandez (Junior Class): Enrique is a member of the varsity tennis team. He had a tremendous fall season and was a vital member of our squad. He is a member of the varsity because of his incredible work ethic. He works incredibly hard in everything he does. Off the court Enrique is a Honor Roll student with his lowest grade this year being an 89. His consistency in the class room reflects the same on the court when he is playing. He is a kid who is always on time, prepared, and respectful. He is the epitome of what a student athlete is and a role model for our younger players.
Jakobe Garner (Senior Class): Jakobe Garner is very outgoing; his diligence in compassion and appreciation for his motherβs love and support is commendable; it is a representation of his maturity. He considers himself a leader and is willing to step in whenever needed. It is very admirable that this student is able to recognize his skills as a leader and adaptability. These two qualities will definitely benefit his political and entrepreneur ambitions. Jakobe is a very respectful and intelligent young man. He will go far with his academic studies because of his stellar grades and his wonderful attitude.
