Miss Claudia Viramontes goes above and
beyond to help her students as well as her
coworkers. She is a natural born leader
and it is easy to see why all of her
students and athletes love her. She is a
pillar of encouragement, and
dependability. As a positive role model,
she carries herself as a strong woman
should and constantly looks out for her
students and coworkers. If anyone has
questions or concerns, she is readily
available. Her ethics to push her students
and athletes to be better than they were
yesterday is the reason why so many of
the students want to improve. She does
not only think of their best interest but
also of how she can positively impact
their future. We are fortunate to have
Coach Viramontes on the Tyler High
team!
Shelley Howard
Network Computer Technician
Shelley Howard is very quick to answer
the questions and concerns of the other
teachers and staff. When called on to
troubleshoot technology equipment she
responds immediately with a smile and a
positive attitude. She recognizes and
addresses potential problems and works to
prevent them. While Shelley does not teach
a regular class, she is eager to teach both
staff and students how to use all
technology from the Clear Touch screens
to ipads. Shelley is extremely patient and
never seems bothered in a crisis. She has
helped Tyler High School many times and
deserves to be recognized for her faithful
service to others. Shelley keeps us up and
