The Wayne D. Boshears Center for Exceptional Programs has officially kicked off its Annual Poinsettia Fundraiser, a cherished tradition that has raised money for the center for over 27 years. The funds generated from this event go towards providing equipment, materials, and special events that directly benefit students at the Boshears Center.
The fundraiser enables the Boshears Center to support various activities, such as community events during the Christmas season and throughout the summer. The money raised also helps provide specialized equipment tailored to the individual needs of students, whether in the classroom or the therapeutic horseback riding arena. Moreover, it offers students unique opportunities, including participation in Christmas performances, summer events, and wheelchair dance performances held throughout the year.
This year’s poinsettia fundraiser offers beautiful, vibrant plants that make excellent gifts for friends and family, all while supporting a great cause. Orders can be placed until Wednesday, November 20th, before 11:59 PM. For those living in the Tyler area, delivery is available for orders of eight plants or more. Delivery dates are set for Wednesday, December 4th, and Thursday, December 5th.Alternatively, you can pick up your order at the Boshears Horse Arena on December 4th and 5th, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
