Tuesday January 19, 2023 The Boshears Center was filled with the sounds of drums and cheers as the Tyler ISD Foundation came down our hallways. The Boshears Center received two grants with a combined total of $3610.00
Music for Everyone, Everywhere, All at Once $2500.00
Music for Everyone, Everywhere, All at Once is for placing more outdoor instruments into our outdoor learning area, the Sunshine Spot, to incorporate music centers and concepts. This grant will allow us to add new instruments to the already existing items there.
Advancing Communication Through Cosmo $1,110.00
Cosmo is a set of interactive and multi-sensory controllers (called Cosmoids) that work with the Cosmo app. Cosmo offers an ever-growing selection of activities that motivate learners to develop motor, cognitive, math, science, and communication skills through play and music. Cosmo’s multi-sensory activities work towards achieving skill-based and functional goals through independent and group activities.
