A Visiting International Teacher from Spain, Mrs. Pujol has spent the past five years bringing joy, creativity, and cultural enrichment to her classroom and the entire Birdwell community.
Known for her radiant positivity, Mrs. Pujol creates an environment that feels warm and welcoming the moment you step into her classroom. Both her students and their parents sing her praises, describing her as a bright ray of sunshine. Her cultural influence shines in her innovative lessons, including her annual tradition of grape stomping to make juice—an activity that has inspired her entire grade level to join in this year, creating a lasting and memorable experience for students and families.
Mrs. Pujol’s impact extends beyond her classroom walls. She shares her Spanish heritage with the school community, enriching the dual-language program with creative activities that parents adore. Her leadership and mentorship have also positively influenced her team, paraprofessionals, and fellow teachers, particularly new international teachers adjusting to life in Tyler.
