This week our coding club students wrapped up their March Madness unit with an NBBA Shootout (National Bolt Basketball Association) 🏀 🤖 They worked in teams to code their robots to "dribble" down the court and make it into the basket! 🧠 💪 💻

Mrs. Wheeler's 2nd graders have been working hard learning about time, fractions, and adding/subtracting numbers before spring break. They celebrated Pi day by eating pie and writing about it during their class! 🥧

Last week we hosted an amazing event for our Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students and families. They had the opportunity to learn about cyber security, try block coding, and make their own bouncy balls in an experiment! Thank you to Mrs. Kelechi Mmuobuike, The University of Texas at Tyler, and our own Mrs. Smith for bringing this experience to our students. 🧠💻🧪

Lucky Little Pre-K! Mrs. Busby's students were in the St. Patrick's Day spirit. They discussed why they are lucky and did some writing. They then made their own pot of gold project! 🍀 🌈
