Creating strong writers is a high priority for us, so Mrs. Craft has implemented new writing stations to target specific skills for her 4th graders. ✍️ 🧠 💪
At the beginning of the year, Branden Young and Frankie Kirksey donated backpacks and supplies from their car show. A huge thank you to them!
These backpacks and supplies go to students who have backpacks that break or need more supplies throughout the school year.

Mrs. Daniell's kindergarteners have been working hard during writing time. They have been working on writing the letters of the sounds they hear. So, all of the letters they've spent weeks learning and memorizing? It's time to put 'em all together! ✍️ 🧠 💪

5th grade writing small groups completed a gamified lesson about possessive nouns this week! 🧠 💪 💻 On one quick lesson they were able to match, type, edit, and answer questions about this skill.
At Clarkston, we are all in with teaching our students. Coach Johnson jumped in and began teaching because he wanted to be a part of the classroom!

This week, Mrs. Wheeler's second grade math students have been learning about 3D shapes. They have learned about their attributes, such as sides, edges, and vertices. During this lesson, they focused on the triangular prism. Next, they will be focusing on cubes. 🧠 💪
