The doctor is in! Students in Ms. Modesitt’s 7th grade Science class had a celebrity guest: Dr. Sanchez is a pathologist and he gave a lesson on cells. A pathologist is a doctor that looks at cells through a microscope and identifies cancerous cells and what not. So perfect for the unit they are covering! Our Huskies were glued to his every word! Go Huskies! 🧡
Open House is September 13th from 5:00-6:30. It’s going to be the best, most fun, and most delicious open house to date! As the kids say, “it’s finna be LIT!” 🔥 We are going to have a DJ and PTA Spirit Gear Sales, but that’s not all! Kona Ice AND Travelling Tom’s Coffee Trucks will both be here to serve delicious shaved ice and coffee delights! So come on by, check in with our teachers so we can brag on all of the great things our Huskies are doing, pick up some more Hubbard drip, and have a sweet treat. We can’t wait to see you there! We had some Hubbard Husky Hunger Heroes out in the Tyler community today! (Say that 10 times fast😜) They helped the East Texas Food Bank sort and label donations today! Go Huskies! 🧡

Learn how this 1500 year old game can help you master confidence, strategic thinking and communication skills all in one match. 6th grade SS was killin’ the blended learning environment today with small groups, AVID Foldables, and a “Show What You Know” and illustrate station. Mrs. Clarkston’s classes were comparing three different culture traits, and were having a great time doing so! Go Huskies!
