Our Pre-K Rangers had the best time on their field trip to EcoLand in Kilgore! They enjoyed exploring the interactive exhibits where science is brought to life! They even got to meet Happy the Hedgehog, Iggy the Red Iguana, and a Polar Rabbit!

This past weekend, TylerISD held its annual Punt, Pass, and Kick competition for 3rd - 5th graders in the district. This event showcases the student's skills in football with three categories. The top boy and girl from each grade level advances to represent their school against other elementary winners. Representatives for Rice are:

5th Grade: London Warner & Caleb Brotherton
London Warner placed 2nd overall for 5th grade girls and Caleb Brotherton placed 1st for 5th grade boys! Congrats to all the students who represented us and our two medal winners!
