March 7, 2024, is Big Art Day across the state of Texas. It is an attempt by the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) to engage all art educators, their students, and communities in a single-day art event. THS students created over 1000 origami pieces to show the connection between math and art. WAY TO GO!! #THSStudentMade

Saturday, March 2, the THS JROTC celebrated the year with their Military Ball! The seniors were presented with their graduation stoles, Mr and Miss JROTC were crowned, guest speaker, Mr Venters spoke and then the night was danced away with lots of fun to be had. On Tuesday, Feb 20, 31 girls from Tyler High attended the first annual Girls Lunch and Learn. Discussions about Science, Math, and STEM jobs were had. Empowering girls to believe in themselves; self-love; Be-Yourself and build self-esteem! Cherie Jones shared her college experience and career information with the careers in architecture and construction science!
