Our youngest rangers learned about fall leaves changing colors. They went to the courtyard to explore and pick leaves. They learned about sorting leaves by color and by size. They also made playdough while learning the concept of less and more, measurement and numbers by filling the cup with ingredients.

Today for Red Ribbon Week, the TEAM agreed that it’s CrAZy to do drugs by wearing crazy socks, mismatched clothes, and having some super CRAZY hairdos!

Pre-K had a SUPERπŸ¦Έβ€β™€οΈRock Your School Day at Rice! They started the morning with stations with measurement, counting, and more. And of course you aren’t a real superhero until you’ve completed your superhero training course! The students had to go through an agility ladder, ring of fire, leap over tall buildings, smash through a wall, throw shields, and lift a HUGE boulder!

Second graders have been exploring different forms of energy. They went on a sound scavenger hunt to record sounds they heard around campus, made musical instruments in the STEM lab, and used their very own heat energy to melt Hershey's Kisses.

Our youngest rangers learned about the people who help in our community. They had a guest reader from the Tyler Police Department. They also visited Nurse Gomez to learn the tools she uses to keep the students healthy.Β
